PE & Sport Grant Allocation
SPORTS PREMIUM UPDATE 2017/18
In July 2017 the government confirmed that the sports premium allocated to schools was to double. This has given Hogarth a wonderful opportunity to continue funding previous actions that have been evaluated as a success, and to use these as a groundwork for development in future years, alongside exciting new avenues to ensure ALL pupils are inspired to break through barriers, reach their true potential and partake in a healthy lifestyle.
In order to meet these aims, we will use the Sports’ Premium Funding in 2017/18 to:
Increase the breadth and quality of the PE curriculum in all classes.
Improve the teaching of PE beyond 2018.
Increase participation of all children in physical activity and increase the profile of sport and Physical activity throughout the school.
Increase the opportunities for pupils to compete in sports within school and between other schools.
Provide new, positive and powerful sporting experiences to inspire pupils.
