Little Canada Day 1!
First there was a long coach journey to 'Devil's Punchbowl' where we had snacks and burnt off some energy. We played fun games before looking out at the beautiful views. Then, after another half an hour coach trip we arrived in Portsmouth, before boarding a ginormous ferry and making our way to the Isle of Wight. Not long after leaving the ferry we were in Little Canada, and were very very VERY excited to see our chalets.
This evening has seen us eat a lovely dinner and learn songs around the campfire.
Having a great time, we miss you all. X
Little Canada Day 2
After awaking early for a hearty breakfast we were then onto the first of many activities in an action packed day. We got to take part in fencing, buggy building, orienteering, giant swing, wall climbing, and archery. The weather has been beautiful and we have even spotted some red squirrels around the camp!
Little Canada Day 3
Today was all about overcoming fears and working as a team as the children searched their way through underground tunnels, climbed high on 'Jacob's Ladder' and developed strategies to complete a variety of challenges in 'Problem Solving.'
Little Canada Day 4
Today we got very wet! Not only did we visit a beautiful beach and go on a kayak adventure, but we were lucky enough to also get wet and muddy during the sensory trail course. The evening's activity was a much different event as we got dressed up and threw shapes at the disco!
